Sportsbook Rules


Registration and the Games

To play at Sportsbook Poker, you must first sign-up for a Sports Book Poker Account by selecting a unique account name and password and providing other details like your first and last name, address, email address and contact number. You agree to provide only real and bona fide information and you further agree to update these details as necessary to keep it true and updated. By creating a Sports Book Poker Account, you can access both Play Money Games and Tournaments and Real Money Games and Tournaments.  

Legality of Participation in Sports Book Poker Games

To wager at Sports Book Online Poker Games, you must be at least of 18 years of age and it is lawful for you to do so as per the laws that are applicable in the jurisdiction from where you are connecting. You know and accept that Sports Book Poker is unable to offer you any legal assistances and assurances and you are solely responsible to ensure that always you obey the laws that govern you and that you have all legal rights to play Sports Book Online Poker Games.
Playing Sports Book Online Poker Games is void for whomever and/or wherever forbiddeen by law. Residents of Australia and Singapore are not allowed to use Sports Book Poker software, accounts of residents of these countries will be closed and any balance void.

Artificial Intelligence and Tracking Software

Sports Book Poker is determined to detecting and checking software programs which are made to facilitate (non-human) to play at Sports Book Poker site. These software programs are designed to transfer cards and player details to an external program. Players are not allowed to, and they agree not to, cause any such software program to access Sports Book Poker Site or any data on it and they are allowed to use any such data and transfer it to third parties.  Players must agree to the Sports Book Poker taking measures to prevent and detect the use of such software programs using techniques including but not limited to screen capture and reading the list of current running programs on any of player’s (including your) computer.

Security Checks and Review and Releases

To keep a high level of security, the Sports Book Poker reserves the right to conduct a security review at any time to validate its players’ identity, verify their financial transactions and further document their consent to this Agreement. To help these security checks, players consent to to provide such identification or other details or documentation as the Sports Book Poker, in its free discretion, deems compulsory. If players fail to obey any security request, the Company reserves the right to void their Account. Players will be notified of such verification request by electronic mail or telephone and Account Balances will be forfeited if they do not sign and return any required affidavit of identity and eligibility, release of liability and/or publicity authorization.


Abandonment of Account Balance

The Sports Book Poker reserves the right to cancel its players’ Sports Book Poker Account for any justifiable reason whatsoever at any time without notice to them. If they do not access their Sports Book Poker Account by "logging in" to their Account using their Account Name and password for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days, their Account may be closed and the entire Account Balance will be deemed abandoned and forfeited and the Sports Book Poker management may also close any account with any ESP they may have; provided however, such requirement for log-in and entry is not and does not constitute any obligation whatsoever for them to play any Game, deposit funds or participate in any activity at Sports Book Poker other than logging in.

Forfeiture, Account Closure and Confiscation

Sports Book Poker management reserves the right, in its unfettered discretion, to void any winnings and confiscate any balance in its players’ Sports Book Poker Account (and any ESP account or Company related account including any such account they may have with other websites and casinos owned or operated by the SPortsBook.Com) in any of the following conditions:
 If they have more than one active Sports Book Poker Account;
   
 If the name on their Sports Book Poker Account registration does not match the name on the credit card(s) or other payment accounts used to make purchases at Sports Book Poker;
   
 If they participate in a Sports Book Poker Promotion and withdraw before fulfilling the requirements of that specific promotion;
   
 If they provide incorrect or misleading sign-up details;
   
 If they are not of legal age;
   
 If they connect from a jurisdiction where playing online poker Games is forbidden by law;
   
   If they have "charged back" or denied any of the purchases or deposits that they made to their Sports Book Poker Account;
   
   If players are found cheating or attempting to cheat, or if it is determined by Sports Book Poker that they have employed or made use of a system (including machines, computers, software or other automated systems) designed particularly to cheat the Sports Book Poker system or they are found to have colluded or attempted to collude with other Sports Book Poker players in order to defraud the Company;
   
   If players fail to obey any of the terms and conditions set forth in Sports Book Poker Rules; OR
   
   If Sports Book Poker should become aware that players have played at any other online gaming site under any of the conditions set out at 1) to9) above.
   

Abusive or Offensive Language

Abusive or offensive language is forbidden in the multi-player Games, chat areas or with Sports Book Poker staff. Any violation of this rule may cause a suspension of playing privileges or such other action as may be required by the Sports Book Poker to ensure compliance. Abusive or offensive language may be, but is not limited to any player statements that are in the Company's sole opinion, obscene, profane, racist, offensive, insulating, unreasonably hostile, or contrary to the purpose of the Sports Book Poker chat function.

Disclosure of Fraudulent Activities & Recovery of Disputed Credit Card transactions

If, in the Sports Book Poker's sole determination, players are found to have cheated or tried to defraud the Games, Sports Book Poker, other players, or the Sports Book Poker Management in any way including but not limited to game manipulation or payment fraud, or if they make false and/or offensive comments regarding the Sports Book Poker's operation in any media or forum, the company reserves the right (and players authorize Sports Book Poker) to broadcast their actions together with their identity and e-mail address, besides circulating these details to other online gaming sites, banks, credit card companies, law enforcement departments and other suitable agencies. Sports Book Poker management may close any accounts, and forfeit account balances, that they have at Sports Book Poker or at any other Company website, casino and/or business. Further, in the event of players disputing a credit card transaction made at Sports Book Poker as being illegal, or made in a 'card not present' situation, the company may charge an administration & recovery fee of up to $US 500.00 per disputed transaction if it is deemed by the Sports Book Poker Management that the transaction was authorized and legitimate. The Company may also appoint the services of debt collection agencies to recover from its players the amount of any disputed transactions or charge backs, administration and recovery fees, and other associated credit card processing fees or fines.

Settlement of Disputes.

Players fully accept and agree that the Sports Book Poker's random number generator ("RNG") software will decide the result of the Games. Further, in case of a discrepancy between the result showing on the Software and the Sports Book Poker’s gaming server, the result displayed on the Company's gaming server shall be the authorized and governing result of the Game. Also, players understand and agree that Sports Book Poker and Company records shall be the final authority in deciding the rules of their participation in Sports Book Poker Games, the activity resulting there from and the conditioned in which they occurred.

Notices

For any disputes regarding any outcome in Sports Book Poker Games or other activity at Sports Book Poker, players must submit their complaint to the Company in writing within fourteen (14) days of incident by email to Poker@Sportsbook.com.
