Every poker game begins with each poker player dealt a specific number of hole cards or pocket cards
(2 down faced Hole cards in Texas Holdem Poker and 4 down faced Hole cards in Omaha Poker).

Pre –Flop Betting Round
Once the hole cards are dealt, pre-flop betting round starts with two subsequent players immediately left to the dealer making the forced bets (small blind and big blind subsequently) while other players can call, raise or fold.
Flop Round
When the pre-flop betting round is completed, flop cards (3 face up community cards in Texas Hold’em and 3 faced up community cards in Omaha Poker) are dealt to the players and the second betting action starts.
Turn Card
Once the second betting round is over, a single turn card is dealt to the players and third betting round starts.
River Card
After the third betting round, the river card is dealt (river card is the final community card dealt to the poker players) followed by the final betting round and the showdown if necessary.
Show Down
At the showdown time, all the active players show their hands one- by- one and the pot is rewarded to the winning player having the Highest Hand Rankings. |
