- In Crazy Pineapple poker game, three hole cards are dealt to all the players instead of 2 hole cards in Crazy Pineapple Poker.

- Once the flop cards are dealt, all the players must discard one of their three hole cards.

- At the showdown time, players can use any combination of their remaining two hole cards and five community cards on the board to make their best five-card poker hand.

- If any player, still having three cards in his/her hand at the showdown time, then their hand will be called a dead hand.

- Before the Crazy Pineapple Poker game starts, the player sitting immediately left to the dealer button place a small blind and the player sitting next to the small blind place a big blind. Both small blind and big blind are known as forced bets.

- In the first betting round and the flop betting round of crazy pineapple poker, players are required to bet at least equal to the amount of the big blind, so that they can remain in the game. However, in the final betting rounds of crazy pineapple poker, all the players are required to bet twice the amount of the big blind.

- Crazy pineapple poker is mostly played in “hi/lo split” or “8 or better” variant, where the pot is equally divided between the best five-card poker hand and the worst five-card poker hand. If no hand qualifies for the low, the entire pot will be awarded to the player having the best five-card poker hand.
