Three Hole Cards are Dealt – Pre-Flop or First Betting Round
Crazy Pineapple Poker is a popular community card game, quite similar to Crazy Pineapple Poker. However, there are a few exceptions: In Crazy Pineapple poker game, three hole cards are dealt to all the players instead of 2 hole cards in Crazy Pineapple Poker. Another major difference between Crazy Pineapple Poker and Crazy Pineapple Poker is that all the players must discard one of their three hole cards when the flop cards are dealt.
Before the game begins, the players sitting immediately left to the dealer post the small and big blinds respectively (Usually, the big blind is twice the size of the small blind). Next, three hole cards or faced-down cards are to each player, followed by the first betting round starting from the player sitting immediately left to the big blind. Now all the subsequent players have the following betting options: bet, call, raise or fold. The betting action continues until all the players have placed an equal amount in the pot.
Three Flop Cards or Community Cards (Faced Up) – Second Betting Round
When the pre-flop betting round is completed, flop cards are dealt to each active player. Once the flop cards are dealt, all the players must discard one of their three hole cards. Now the second and each subsequent betting round starts with the player sitting immediately left to the dealer button.
Turn Card or Fourth Community Card (Faced-Up) – Third Betting Round
After the second betting round, Turn Card (Faced-Up) is dealt and the third betting round starts.
River Card or Fifth Community Card (Faced-Up) – Fourth and Final Betting Round
Once the third betting round is completed, River Card (Faced-Up) is dealt and the final betting round starts, followed by the Showdown, if necessary.
Showdown Time – Pot is Awarded to the Winning Player
Showdown occurs when two or more players are remaining in the final betting round. At the showdown time, players can use any combination of their remaining two hole cards and five community cards on the board to make their best five-card poker hand. The having the highest ranking five-card poker hand wins the pot. In case of identical poker hands, the pot will be equally divided between the players having the highest five-card poker hands.
