In a recent incident, a hacker took pleasure in some high-stakes online poker games at Daniel Nergreanu’s cost. Yes, the hacker broke into his PokerStars account and e-mail as well. The poker pro from Canada was returning back after competing in the amazing Aussie Millions, when he figured out the break-in. Within no time, he made it public through his twitter account about the incident. He tweeted that nobody should send him any emails as the account apparently has been hacked. Without any doubt, it was not the worst for him. It was about to come.
Yes, soon he came to know from KidPoker that the hacker had been enjoying high stakes poker games Daniel Nergreanu’s expense. And, it happened when the poker pro was still on the airplane returning back from Australia. Negreanu had around 100,000 US dollars in his account, which the perpetrator proceeded to spend at the $100 and $200 NL poker tables. Unfortunately, in which he lost more than 46,000 US dollars, equivalent to more than 400 hands. However, members from the community did spot the erratic play of the hacker. And, it was enough for everyone to smell something fishy in the act. Well, it is quite likely that PokerStars will now give back Negreanu’s money. |
