It was just a first day in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit, but the action continued for more than 14 hours! Quite truly, it was certainly magnificent for any poker fan around the world. On Day1, the event which is going at the popular Choctaw Casino and Resort, witnessed around 1,000 poker participants take to the felt. The number of players taking part in the game during the first part of the day was around 647; whereas, the number of players during the second part of the day was around 300. So, the total number of players turned out to be around 947. Nevertheless, only 318 players were able to survive the first flight. And, around 180 players were able to get through the evening flight. But, Chris Tiller was enjoying the topmost position with around 167,500 chips. And, the player beneath him was having just half the number of chips accumulated by Tiller. Yes, Ray Jennings and Rob Salaburu were able to the grab the 2nd and 3rd position with 90,000 chips and 87,000 chips respectively. Apart from them, players who were made an impact were Raja Kattamuri, Drazen Ilich, Tommy Vedes, James Van Alstyne, and Roland Israel. |
